Sanctum is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. If they conflict, Apple’s agreement applies.
1. Your keys, your responsibility
Only your pattern and recovery code can open your vault. We never have them and cannot reset them. If you lose both, and have no backup with its matching code, your vault cannot be recovered by anyone. Keep your recovery code somewhere safe, away from your iPhone.
2. Free plan and Sanctum Pro
The free plan includes up to 50 items across up to 3 vaults. Sanctum Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription (the annual plan may include a free trial) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple.
If Pro ends, nothing you stored is locked or removed; only new imports beyond the free limit and Pro features pause.
3. Acceptable use
Use Sanctum lawfully. You are responsible for the content you store and share. Don’t try to break, reverse engineer or misuse the app or its purchases.
4. No warranty, limited liability
We work hard to keep Sanctum secure and reliable, but no software is perfect. Sanctum is provided “as is”. Keep separate copies of anything irreplaceable. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
